The Junior School curriculum is presented using a collaborative and integrated approach to learning, where continuous learning and success for each child is the focus. The curriculum concentrates on Religious Education, Mathematics, English, Health & Physical Education, Society & Environment, Science, Technology & Enterprise and the Arts. As we are a K–12 College, all students have equal access to exceptional architecturally designed educational facilities that are state-of-the-art, dynamic, interactive and user-friendly across the campus; such facilities include the library, gymnasium, lecture theatre, oval, basketball courts, computer labs, music and drama centers.

Mandurah Catholic College’s Kindergarten has been designed to be dynamic, hands-on and most importantly, educationally fun. In a supportive environment, each student is provided with opportunities to explore and develop his/her individual potential. Through exploration and experiences, students acquire self-confidence and a love of learning. The staff plan play-based learning activities, which are embedded with intentional teacher focus utilising the Early Years Framework.
The Kindergarten operates for 4 days per week.
At Mandurah Catholic College for Pre-Primary to Year 6, there is a firm commitment to providing a positive learning environment, both engaging and challenging, a place where children are encouraged to become successful life-long learners. The centre of any planned learning experience is to focus on the needs of the child in order to enable them to become confident, effective and reflective learners who develop a desire to challenge themselves even further. Another crucial aspect determining the quality of the learning programme is the assessment techniques employed. Accurate plotting of the progress made by each student ensures that successes are
recognised and built upon whilst extra assistance is provided to ensure all students are able to achieve their optimal potential. Communication with parents is crucial and welcomed at all times, enabling a partnership between parents, teachers and students to strive for the same goals for the child.
Digital technology is a focus in our Year 5 and 6 classrooms with a parent funded digital learning device program. This enables our students to become true twenty-first century learners in our twenty first century world.
