MCC in the Primary Inter-School Cross CountryPosted in Achievements,Primary,Sport on Friday, 2 August, 2019

The Years 4, 5 and 6 Cross Country team represented MCC in the Primary Inter-School Cross Country held at Meadow Springs Sports Facility.

It was a beautiful sunny day on Wednesday with the students looking forward to running in the sunshine instead of in the rain as it has been in previous years.
There were 22 schools competing from all over the Peel Region which resulted in 110 students for each race.

The whole team ran very well, resulting in MCC winning the Betty Cuthbert shield for B Division out of eleven schools.
We had four students make it into the top ten for their year group.

  • Tahlia Head 3rd place year 4 girls
  • Korbyn Napoli 9th place year 4 boys
  • Brienna O’Sullivan 3rd place year 6 girls
  • Amber Head 6th place year 6 girls

The Year 6 girls also won their year group combined over the 22 schools.

Congratulations to all students, your behaviour and attitude throughout the day was fantastic.
