Tell us about your family:
I have incredibly supportive parents, a wonderful little brother who towers over me and my sister is the amazing Miss Sullivan! I also have an indescribably great Puggle named Tina – I love her very much but she, unfortunately, does not care for me.
What about your education:
I went to Curtin University and got my Bachelor of Education in Secondary Teaching
Tell us about your history with MCC:
I actually went to MCC for Primary and High School so I have a very long history here! I had a great time at school and made some amazing friends who I’m still close with today. The school offered me so many wonderful opportunities and it is great to see how much it has grown since I was here. I was lucky enough to be able to stay in St Bernadette’s when I started working here and I’m hoping that we will be able to take out the House Shield this year.
What did you do before MCC?
I worked at Reading Cinemas as a Projectionist until they stopped using film and switched entirely over to digital. I then worked as an Administration Assistant at a real estate agents for two years. I also went on amazing trip to the USA, as well as exploring Australia.
What do you in the community?
I coach the MCC Mock Trial teams. This is my second year and the students are doing exceptionally well this year – I am very proud!
Tell us about your passion:
I am passionate about books and movies – I love a good story told in any medium.
What are you listening to/ watching/ reading right now?
Listening: Apple Music has a playlist ‘Musical Hits’ with songs from all my favourite musicals.
Watching: The Good Place
Reading: “Why Not Me?” – Mindy Kaling
What do you love about our College?
I love the atmosphere and feeling like I work in a place where people genuinely care about each other.
What are your plans for the future?
To be honest, I have barely planned what I’m doing next week! I do know that I want to make my way back to America sometime soon. Maybe after 2020.
